Looking for Eric [NR]: Having let his life slip away, a futbol fan who idolizes Manchester's star player begins to fantasize that the athlete is his confessor. Downtrodden after walking out on his first wife and their daughter, Eric settles for babysitting duties and pub gatherings to offset his panic attacks. When he discovers his son minding a gun for a local thug who bullies youths, he decides to make things right. As the humiliation builds, methodically like in a Jim Thompson novel, Eric reaches his breaking point.
